a tribute to D&G

as i call it, D&G is the cheaper or affordable  version of the main brand Dolce&Gabbana, which i used to tell my friends about the difference between D&G and Dolce&Gabbana. from my reasearch, D&G is actually profiting more than the main line.

in Milano, Italy, last 22nd of september, thursday, was the D&G fashion show for thier spring/summer 2012 collection. and after 26 years of giving us young and optimistic fashion label, Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana took their last bows for the sister label of  the main line, Dolce&Gabbana. the sister label will become part of the main label.

"  The folding of D&G is likely to rattle a domestic fashion industry still reeling from Italy's credit-rating downgrade by Standard and Poor's. Mario Boselli, chairman of Italy's chamber of fashion, has told Italian designers – many of whom are perennially locked in battle over the most prestigious slots on the fashion week schedule – that they must unite.
